Purchasing Specialist (Order Management)
The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate execution of purchase orders to support uninterrupted production and supply continuity.
This role focuses on order management, supplier coordination, delivery tracking, and issue resolution while maintaining alignment with the production plan and internal processes.
The position plays a key role in managing supply risks, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting efficient procurement operations.
PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
Create and approve purchase orders accurately and on time, ensuring correct data, documentation, and supplier communication.
Support production continuity by managing raw material, subcontracting, and service orders in line with the production plan.
Monitor supplier delivery dates, resolve delays quickly, and confirm revised timelines within one working day.
Communicate proactively with suppliers and internal teams to keep order status, risks, and changes clear and timely.
Identify and resolve order issues, including incorrect data, specification discrepancies, missing approvals, and supplier errors.
Maintain effective Min–Max inventory levels to avoid production stoppages, shortages, or excess stock.
Ensure all procurement documents are complete, accurate, uploaded on time, and traceable for audits and reviews.
Coordinate subcontracting orders and monitor their timelines to ensure smooth execution and compliance with technical requirements.
Process supplier invoices and credit notes accurately during backup periods, resolving discrepancies with suppliers and Finance.
Contribute to process improvements, urgent issue resolution, and additional tasks assigned by the manager.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Experience in Purchasing or Supply Chain within a production environment is preferred.
B2 level proficiency in English for communication with international suppliers.
Experience in order management, supplier coordination, or ERP systems is an advantage.
