ABCDOE - Syracuse Pilot

As part of a 2024 retrofit initiative, the ABC/DOE Syracuse Pilot project in Syracuse, NY transformed an existing student housing facility with a focus on energy performance, comfort, and long-term resilience. This low-rise building was upgraded using advanced building envelope solutions tailored for institutional use.

The renovation included the installation of INTUS triple-glazed windows with 42mm glazing, ClimaGuard® Low-E coating, and a mix of annealed and tempered glass. Mounted with aluminum L-angle systems, these window units offer excellent airtightness, acoustic control, and thermal efficiency—ideal for creating healthier, more sustainable living environments for students.
