ABOUT PROJECT

The Fitchburg City Hall Campus Administrative Building, located at 718 Main St in Fitchburg, MA, is a mid-rise institutional facility that underwent a retrofit in 2020. The renovation aimed to improve energy efficiency and upgrade the overall performance of the building envelope, while preserving its function as a civic administrative center.

As part of the upgrade, the building was fitted with INTUS double-glazed tempered windows featuring 22mm and 24mm glazing. These high-performance units were selected for their excellent thermal insulation (U-value of 0.25) and high visual transmittance (0.66), contributing to a more energy-efficient and sustainable facility.

In addition, sound performance ratings of STC 32 / OITC 26 help minimize noise infiltration, ensuring a quieter and more productive work environment for building occupants.
