Halley Rise - Block F

Halley Rise – Block F, located at 12010 Sunrise Valley Dr in Reston, VA, is a four-story mid-rise residential building completed in 2022 as part of a larger transit-oriented development in the D.C. metro tech corridor. The building is LEED Silver certified, reflecting a commitment to sustainability, comfort, and energy performance.

The project incorporates INTUS double-pane casement, awning, and fixed windows, as well as hinged doors. These high-performance units feature tempered, annealed, and laminated glass with ClimaGuard® low-E coatings and glazing thicknesses ranging from 22mm to 38.76mm. Designed for optimal energy savings and occupant comfort, the system provides excellent thermal insulation (U-value 0.25) and sound attenuation (STC 42 / OITC 37).

Exterior design elements include 14,600 SF of angled screenwall and 5,500 SF of Alucobond ACM panels in the courtyard, enhancing privacy and aesthetic appeal.
