Merrimack College Student Housing

ABOUT PROJECT

Completed in North Andover, Massachusetts, Merrimack College Student Housing is a mid-rise student residence designed to deliver high performance in energy efficiency, durability, and acoustic comfort. INTUS triple-glazed windows were selected for this development to meet rigorous environmental and structural demands.

The 42mm window systems feature annealed and tempered glass with a U-value of 0.16, a Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) of 0.19, and visible transmittance of 0.51. The system achieves an air infiltration rate of 0.1 cfm/ft² and water penetration resistance of 12.11 psf, with a design pressure rating of ±70.18 psf. Sound insulation is measured at STC 35 / OITC 27.

All units were installed using mounting brackets to ensure structural integrity and installation efficiency.
