ABOUT PROJECT
WWU Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Building

The Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Building at Western Washington University (WWU), located at 172 E College Way, Bellingham, WA, is a mid-rise institutional facility completed in 2024. This modern academic space was designed to support STEM education through sustainable architecture and high-performance building systems.

The facility features INTUS double-glazed tempered windows with 22mm glazing, installed using mounting brackets. These windows offer excellent energy efficiency, durability, and acoustic performance, with STC 31 / OITC 25 ratings. Their low U-value of 0.26 and SHGC of 0.21 help reduce energy use while enhancing occupant comfort in both lab and classroom settings.
